رَبِّ زِد نئِ عِلمًا

Our teachings are based on the Hadith of Rasool’Allah (s.a.w.s):

Innee Taarekun fee Kumus-Saqalayene Keetab’Allaahe wa Eet’ratee Ahley-baithee, In tamas’sak-tum beheema Lan  Ta’zillo ba’dee wa lan yata-farra-qa hat-taa yaradoo A’lal Houze.

Rasoolullah (s.a.w.s) said: I am leaving behind among you (O’Muslims) two significant entities, the Book of Allah (Qur’an) and my close relatives, family members (Ahley-baith), if you anchor to them (their teachings), you will never go astray after me, and the entities will not be dissociated till they reach me at the fountain of Kow-ther.

We thank and praise Allah s.w.t and say:

Al-hamdo Lil-Laahil Lazee Ja’a lanee min Um-matay Mohammadin wa min She’ai-tay Ali-yyibne Abee Taalebin wa lam Yaj-a’lnee min Saaye-ril woma-may.

All praise be to Allah who created me in the believers of Mohammad (s.a.w.s) and kept me among the true lovers of Ali ibne Abi Taalib (a.s), and did not create me in other communities.

We pray to Allah s.w.t.:

Allaa-humma Ah’eynee A’laa Maa Ah’yaye-ta A’layhe Ali-yyibne Abee Taalebin wa A’mitnee A’laa Maa Maata A’layhe Ali-yyobno Abee Taalebin A’layhes-salaamo.

O, Allah bless me the same (path) which you blessed Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s.), and raise me to Heavens as you granted to Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s).
